The Logitech Slim Folio Pro is one piece. Slim Folio Pro helps you draw and sketch on the iPad Pro with Photo: Ed Hardy/Cult of Mac The top of the screen will be tilted up just a bit, making drawing easier. Lay the iPad Pro down on top of the keyboard with the display facing up to sketch with the Apple Pencil. The Slim Folio Pro offers two viewing angles: 120 degrees, and 110 degrees, based on an adjustment to the kickstand. It will solidly click into place, and be held there with magnets.Ī kickstand holds the tablet up securely, with no movement when the touchscreen is tapped. To make your tablet into a laptop, open the clamshell then place the bottom of the iPad Pro in a groove just above the keyboard. This flap will also magnetically hold itself to the back of the case when you’re typing so it doesn’t just irritatingly flap around. ![]() There’s an optional slot in the flap to slip the Pencil into if you’re really concerned about losing it, but the stylus won’t charge that way. The Slim Folio Pro protects the latest iPad Pro, and holds the Apple Pencil 2 as well. Still, there are openings for the speakers, USB-C port, and cameras, so keep away from liquids and heavy dust. All this means the tablet is fairly well protected in the Logitech Slim Folio Pro from bumps and blows. The exterior a black plastic, and seems designed to offend no one, even if it won’t particularly appeal to anyone either.Īll the corners of the iPad Pro are covered with thick bumpers, the keyboard fits over the screen, and there’s two layers of plastic on the back. Thanks for reading, I hope this will help you and make a better purchase decision. The Slim Folio Pro uses a modified clamshell design. However on practical usage, it won't be much of a problem, since control center is more convient than the button it self and there's its a "Lock screen" button at the bottom and it really comes in handy. The button is well wrapped and protected, but quite hard to click on it. The price is "around" 108€, however, it's is highly possible to find a cheaper options for this keyboard. (it's hard to explain how it will look like with on it's writing angle, let me know if you want to see a sample photo) Writing with Apple pencil on this is quite a stable and safe experience, because the bottom case will offer quite a grip. Function keys are a bonus for this keyboard, its ergonomically better. The backlit looks really cool, but its quite impractical, its better if you just turn on the light in the room. The angle of the keyboard is too steep and harder to use compare to the smart keyboard folio. The key travel is amazing, its perfect for anyone. The weight is fuxking heavy, however, it won't be a problem if you aren't constantly on the go. The distance between keys are closer than normal keyboard, may take a some time to get used to. ![]() The button are pretty accessible and exposed without protection. (I won't discuss much on the budget, since it varies between people.) The price is 199€ at the moments and it is quite unlikely to find any cheaper option other than that. Writing with Apple pencil on this case is quite a weird experience, because you will have to lay it completely flat on the table, and it doesnt offer much friction(Which isn't safe). The cover will lose its glossy texture at the spot where you grab the ipad overtime. The protection is horrible, I often times feel concerned for my ipad in my backpack. The key travel is perfectly fine for people who aren't a heavy typer. The distance between the keys are wider, which makes its feel closer to your day to day normal laptop size keyboard. I own both smart keyboard and logitech slim folio (11 inch, 2018) and these are my personal opinions:) ![]()
